In the case of a 307 final drive, the driveshaft will rotate 3.07 times for every rotation of the wheels. This ratio affects the vehicle's acceleration, top speed, and fuel efficiency. A higher final drive ratio, such as 4.10, will provide quicker acceleration but lower top speed, while a lower ratio, such as 2.73, will result in slower acceleration but higher top speed and better fuel efficiency.
